Cab Rininger is a visual communication professional with a career spanning two decades. She currently leads the media design team at Kellogg Community College (KCC) in Battle Creek, Michigan. Rininger’s career has been defined by conveying ideas, messages and concepts effectively and engagingly through print and digital media. 

Before joining KCC, Rininger was a designer and art director, spearheading visual communication initiatives for clients including the SPCA, Pfizer, Stryker and the United Way. Her skill in transforming concepts into captivating visual narratives has been a defining factor of her success. 

At KCC, Rininger’s journey has been one of collaboration and innovation. Together with her colleagues in the marketing department, she was instrumental in a website redesign that transformed how KCC connects with its students and community. This initiative has made information more accessible and crafted an online space that reflects the warmth and inclusivity of campus. 

Rininger is also the creative force behind the “Be Bruin” campaign, a project that’s about not just branding but building a sense of belonging within the KCC community. Her work in unifying and elevating visual communication is seen the college’s publications, enhancing brand perception and reinforcing KCC’s commitment to excellence. 

Beyond her professional roles, Rininger is passionate about nurturing the next generation of visual communicators. Since 2013, she has shared her passion for design by teaching college classes. Her commitment to meaningful work with nonprofits is evident in her role at KCC, where she not only enhances the institution’s visual identity but also contributes to the broader mission of helping students succeed.
