The manager of marketing communication at Fox Valley Technical College, Susan quickly adapted to higher education and the college. Of her many accomplishments, she's developed and implemented FVTC's marketing and communication plan, led the digital and traditional marketing strategies (helping to shift the team to a digital first approach), and led improved prospective and current student communications. FVTC offers over 240 programs which involves a complex management system. Susan leads the communication for these program offerings and interfaces regularly with over 50 internal staff.
Beyond her technical knowledge and abilities with marketing and advertising, writing, planning, and analytics, Susan is a strategic thinker and quick study on any new topic. Her tenaciousness and collaborative approach has earned her the respect of her colleagues and the other marketing staff. According to her supervisor, "Susan is constantly reading, studying, researching and making herself aware of new ideas and technologies to bring to her college in order to make FVTC more relevant and attractive."
