• Spearheading Athletics Media Day, producing dynamic graphics and photography that elevated support and visibility for college sports teams.  

• Creating innovative marketing collateral for dual-enrolled students, making high school outreach fun and engaging. 

• Developing award-worthy creative campaigns for Chemeketa’s Yamhill Valley Campus, including UFO- and alien-themed designs tied to the area’s annual UFO Fest.  

• Writing exceptional press releases that generate media coverage and community interest in college initiatives.  

• Immersing herself in marketing for theater and music programs, increasing community engagement and attendance.  

• Designing hundreds of marketing materials and capturing thousands of high-quality photos to tell Chemeketa’s story.  

What characteristics make Taylor stand out as a promising new professional in the field? Taylor brings a rare blend of creativity, drive and heart to her work. She’s a fearless contributor, always willing to step outside her comfort zone to take on new challenges. Whether serving on the College Council alongside executives to advocate for classified employees or delivering high-profile projects with tight deadlines, Taylor shows amazing confidence and professionalism. She is passionate about equity and student success. She’s a dedicated advocate for first-generation students and plays a key role in organizing and promoting annual First Gen events that help these students feel seen and celebrated. 

What skills does Taylor bring to Chemeketa’s marcom team? She is a gifted graphic designer, a talented photographer and a skilled storyteller. She frequently writes press releases that gain media coverage and internal newsletters. Her ability to pivot seamlessly between creative development and technical tasks, such as web editing, makes her a versatile asset to the department. When the college webmaster is away, Taylor maintains and updates the site.
