Gabriela Reyna consistently produces award-winning designs and has led a variety of major college projects, helping the department elevate brand standards. She is always open to growth and development and works hard to remain in tune with the latest trends and technology.
She has also taken on leadership roles outside of her day-to-day design. Arizona Western College (AWC) recently launched Entrepreneurial College, which encompasses all of the college CTE and workforce development programs. When thinking about how to best serve this new pillar, AWC turned to Reyna as a designer to provide the stability and consistency needed.
She was an important player in the recent institutional rebrand at AWC and is leading its mascot redesign. Reyna has a deep knowledge of current and relevant design trends and practices and a keen sense of branding and brand management.
Reyna continues to wow AWC audiences with her illustration and animation skills and is an incredible artist. Her designs are always elevated and never basic. She understands the connection between design and photography and has taken it upon herself to develop her photography skills to make herself a better designer. She works closely with the college’s strategic content/social media specialist to understand social media marketing, how design influences strategy, and what designs perform best.
Reyna is outspoken, passionate, and creative; and she always contributes ideas and solutions to strengthen and improve the team.
