Share an accomplishment you’re especially proud of from the last year.

Seeing my colleagues win NCMPR Medallions and Paragons always makes me proud of the talented and student-focused external affairs team at Harper College.

Marketing and communications professionals have to wear a lot of hats. Tell us about an area in which you particularly excel.

I think I’m a good sounding board for my peers when they are dealing with difficult situations.

Who is a leader you admire and try to emulate?

I’ve always admired Dr. Ryan Smith, director of university assessment services at Illinois State University. He stays focused on students, he gets the best out of his teams and he has an excellent sense of humor.
