I want to attend NCMPR's 2022 national conference, but professional development funds are tight.

You could win a full conference registration!

All you need to do is take this survey to help NCMPR learn more about our membership makeup. One survey-taker from each district will receive a free conference registration. That's seven total!

A scholarship can help!

NCMPR offers $400 scholarships to offset the cost of attending the 2022 national conference. Each of NCMPR’s seven districts will offer one general scholarship and one DEI scholarship. Scholarship deadline has now passed.

General Scholarship

Applications are open to all NCMPR members, including new and long-time members, who need additional funding to attend the conference.

DEI Scholarship

Beginning in 2022, NCMPR now offers diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) scholarships. Applications are open to NCMPR members who are BIPOC, member of the LGBTQ+ community and/or a person with a disability.

  • Applicants must work full-time as a director, manager, writer, graphic designer, photographer, administrative assistant or other position that supports the college’s marketing and communications activities.
  • Applicants must be a designated NCMPR member.
  • Members of the NCMPR’s Board of Directors are not eligible to receive a scholarship.

  • Attendees must register for the conference and pay the registration fee in full.
  • NCMPR will mail scholarship recipients a check, made payable to your college, at the conclusion of the conference.
  • Scholarship winners who are unable to attend the conference will forfeit their scholarship, and the NCMPR board may select another recipient.
