Program Impact & Growth

Since its launch in 2021, the NCMPR Leadership Institute has quickly established itself as a premier leadership development experience for community college communication professionals.

The inaugural cohort kicked off with a summer institute in Denver, Colorado, in June 2021, culminating in final presentations and graduation in March 2022, setting the standard for a dynamic, cohort-based learning journey.

Today, the program continues to build a strong and growing network of leaders:

  • Ninety-three NCMPR members have successfully completed the Leadership Institute
  • The program has now celebrated its fifth cohort, marking a significant milestone in its continued expansion and impact

With each cohort, the Leadership Institute strengthens its reputation for developing confident, strategic leaders who are shaping the future of community college communications.
