Tell us about your creative expertise. How have you honed your skills over the years?

My creative expertise lies in building branded identities and telling stories through design. I love taking big ideas and translating them into visual experiences that are meaningful, memorable and easy to understand. Whether it’s a brand campaign, environmental graphic, publication or major institutional initiative, I’m always thinking about how design can create connection and support a larger goal.

I’ve developed that skill over the years through a combination of education, curiosity and experience. Starting as a student aide and growing into my current role gave me opportunities to work on a wide variety of projects while learning from talented colleagues and mentors. Every campaign, report, initiative and milestone event has taught me something new about strategy, communication and the power of thoughtful design.

What's a recent project you’re especially proud of?

One project I’m particularly proud of is leading the development of the brand and visual identity for Harper College’s upcoming 60th anniversary celebration. The project required balancing history, storytelling and strategy while creating a flexible identity that could be used across print, digital, environmental and event experiences.

As a Harper alumna who has spent her entire professional career at the college, contributing to such a significant milestone is especially meaningful. The project reflects not only the evolution of the Harper brand, but also the collaborative work of an incredible team dedicated to celebrating the college’s impact on students and the community over the past six decades.

What inspires you?

For me, inspiration is everywhere. It comes from the world around me, whether it’s a billboard on my drive to work, a piece of music, a beautifully designed space, or the work of other creatives. What inspires me most is seeing great work and asking myself how I can continue to grow and improve, not only as a designer but also as an artist. I’m driven to create thoughtful, meaningful work that makes an impact and gives me a sense of pride. That motivation continues to push my creativity further with every project.
