National Conferences

NCMPR's annual national conference, held each March, offers keynote speakers, workshops and roundtable discussions, all focusing on some of the hottest topics and current trends in community college marketing and public relations. The conference line-up features speakers from within NCMPR's own ranks, along with leaders in the community college movement and communications professionals from the private sector. The national conference provides an excellent opportunity for NCMPR members to connect with colleagues from across the country and get answers to pressing questions.

The 2011 Conference:
Creative Revolution

March 13 to 16
Hyatt Regency at Penn's Landing
Philadelphia, Penn.

For NCMPR’s 2011 conference, it’s a “Creative Revolution,” appropriately set in Philadelphia, the centerpiece of early American history and the American Revolution.

Inspired by the innovative thinking of our country’s founding fathers, NCMPR's annual conference will focus on the most imaginative and inventive solutions for promoting today’s two-year colleges. Indeed, in order to form a more perfect union of new media and traditional marketing techniques, discovering the right blend will be crucial to the bottom line.

Join this creative revolution and learn new ideas that will transform our own thinking about how to reach today’s students. The 2011 conference takes place March 13 to 16 at the Hyatt Regency Philadelphia at Penn’s Landing. The hotel sits alongside the Delaware River, just steps from Philadelphia’s Historic District, where you’ll find notable attractions like Independence Hall, the Liberty Bell Center, Constitution Center and the Betsy Ross House.

Planning for 2011 is already under way. Watch this site for details as they become available.
