Creating engaging, relatable and trending content that aligns with institutional goals is key to capturing students' attention and increasing engagement. Join us to learn how blending education and entertainment can transform your social media strategy—it’s the same approach that helped grow Rutgers University–Camden's Instagram from roughly 3,000 followers to nearly 12,000 in just one year.
In this webinar, you'll learn how to:
- Keep up with pop culture to know what students want to see—follow entertainment outlets, stay on top of trending TV, movies, sports, music and more, and then adapt relevant ideas for your institution.
- Collaborate with students and student ambassadors—meet regularly to learn what’s showing up in their feeds and what they want to see from your school’s social media pages.
- Be selective with trends—not every trend fits your institution, especially when it conflicts with your ethics policy or values.
- Compete with yourself, not other schools—get inspiration from other institutions, but focus on showing what makes your own campus special.
