Responsibilities:
- Oversee media relations and maintain outstanding relationships with reporters, editors, and producers to create favorable media coverage and public opinion.
- Lead the Office of Marketing and Media Relations, which involves strategic planning, budget stewardship, supervision of full-time employees, and supervision as needed of advertising agencies, designers, video production companies, photographers, printers, digital publishers, mail processing and other vendors.
- Manage the PVCC brand - a promise of providing opportunity, access and excellence to residents of the College's service region. • Research, develop, execute and evaluate strategic marketing plans, and multi-media marketing campaigns for the College within budget and by deadlines.
- Research and pursue new market opportunities.
- Oversee the College's Web site in partnership with the IT Office.
- Produce the College's Annual Report, marketing collateral materials and other print and digital publications.
- Advise the College's administration about marketing and communication strategies appropriate for new initiatives and developing situations.
- Provide marketing and communications support to PVCC divisions and offices.
- Serve on the College's Emergency Response Team and Enrollment Management Committee.
- Contribute to a culture of excellence that is founded in continually exhibiting a positive nature, professionalism, and productivity.
